NC Fossil Festival
The North Carolina Fossil Festival celebrates the Aurora Fossil Museum and the rich fossil record of North Carolina. Join us for a family-friendly event steeped in tradition and good old-fashioned southern charm. This is a FREE festival, with special ticketed events.

About the event
Activities include digging for fossils, fossil displays, silent auction, displays by partner nonprofit organizations, movie night, parade, live entertainment, food & craft vendors, Saturday night glow party, Dinosaur show, and much, much more! Full schedule of events can be found here.
The NC Fossil Festival Parade will begin on Saturday, May 27th at 11 am on Main Street.
Please follow signs posted on Hwy 33 for festival parking, including volunteer and handicap parking. General parking will be in the large field between Pearl and Chapin Streets.
