Christmas Open House

For the first time, The Ell Hotel opens its doors and invites you to join us for a night of merry fun and good cheer! Joining us from Fayetteville, North Carolina, is professional Opera singer Ivy Calvert. Ivy will be providing a 30-minute intimate performance of Christmas music rendered just of our event. She will be accompanied by Andrew Berinson, a professional pianist from Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Self-guided and guided tours of The Ell Hotel will be available, wine and beer will be available for purchase, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and hors d'oeuvres (catered by Carryout by Chrislyn) will be provided. Local artwork through The River Walk Gallery artists will be on display and available for purchase.

Ivy Calvert is an American soprano based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A passionate storyteller, she thrives on the operatic and concert stages as well as in the recital hall. Ivy’s mission to tell impactful stories comes from her desire to connect audiences with something bigger than themselves. She received her Master of Music in Opera Performance from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Andrew Berinson, a professional pianist from Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2018, Andrew won the Yamaha Award at the American Jazz Pianist Competition in Melbourne, Florida. Playing piano since he was 6, Andrew studied jazz at North Carolina Central University. Andrew's musical vision is joyful: “I want my music to be an expression of hope for all of humanity. I want it to bring people together and make them happy.
